Bill Burr has a new standup special hitting Netflix later this month. The streaming network announced today that it’s added a new hourlong special from Burr called Walk Your Way Out, which will debut Tuesday, January 31st. Here’s more info from the press release: Before a sold-out crowd at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium, Burr’s Walk Your Way Out tackles everything from sinking cruise ships to celebrity fat shaming and the myth of healthy fast-food, all with his never-wavering, no-holds-barred and biting approach to comedy. The special — Burr’s fifth — follows the comedian’s previously released stand-up specials, three of which are streaming now on Netflix: I’m Sorry You Feel That Way, You People Are All the Same and Let It Go.
For Netflix this becomes their latest announced deal which shouldn’t go unnoticed. Just a few days ago it was also announced that Jerry Seinfeld is taking some projects to the network. Let’s go to mention that Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Amy Schumer are on board as well to bring specials with Netflix in 2017. Things are set to be Netflix’s biggest comedy year.
